About Lisa

A Top 10 Award winner of the Business Accelerator Initiative headed by David Cameron, Vincent Nobi, and Dragons’ Den’s Deborah Meaden.

I consider myself lucky to have spent the last 25 years fulfilling my passion: renovating property, and interior designing hotels and private residences around the UK.

No two clients and no two days have ever been the same. I think that’s why I love my job so much. This experience has given me the opportunity to create unique identities for my clients, that I simply love to share.

My solo career started in London, when I became one of North London’s first 'House Doctors'. I specialised in helping clients to sell property that was stuck on the market and taught them the importance of kerb appeal & dressing property for sale to achieve the best price.

I learned quickly how to pinpoint the right target market for my customers, and work with them to ensure maximum potential.

I have designed show homes from Canary Wharf apartments to listed manor houses and built up a clientele, both private and commercial. Many clients return to me time and time again to discuss their projects even if it’s just to source a light fitting.

I have helped develop the identity of my hotel clients, producing complete interior design packages for them including FF&E sourcing and procurement.

So, now Ruler is born - the go-to destination when designing your space. I’ll be sharing some great ideas and fabulous products with you, sourced from around the globe.

No matter how big or small your project, my initial consultation is free of charge.

I am proud to offer a comprehensive turn-key service for developers, landlords, and home owners, with a library of high-quality, on-trend furniture packages to suit your brief.

The Design Process

The brief – We discuss your vision and budget - a very exciting brainstorming session!

The Concept Stage – Having made the very best that your space has to offer, I will provide inspiring story boards of the scheme/s, giving you a clearer vision of the concept and a taste of materials used. The concept/s will keep you connected to your vision at all times throughout the design and development stage.

Final Designs – Once you are happy with the concept/s, a design pack is provided including information such as technical drawings, schedule of works & specifications , furnishings, fabrics, lighting, fixtures and fittings that incorporate your scheme/s.

As a client, you have the option to undertake the work/s yourself, or to use our build and project management service where my team can take the concept through to completion.
